Prestigious result of our doctorate

The research of Prof. Luca Vincetti professor of Electromagnetic Fields and Photonics and head of the laboratory PhEMLab at the Department of Engineering "Enzo Ferrari" was published in the February issue of the prestigious magazine Nature Communications. The study reports a new technique for the manufacturing of special hollow core fibers and remarkable performance records of the same fibers. The activity was developed in the framework of the European Project CRYST^3 devoted to the development of quantum sensors based on hollow core fibers.

Co-authors of the work are Dr. Fabio Giovanardi and Dr. Federico Melli both former students of our Doctorate in ICTs and Prof. Fetah Benabid of the research institute XLIM of Limoges, member of our Extended Doctorate Council.
